Art tower Muecke
The former loading tower at the former ore laundering station in Muecke is one of the more striking remains of the former ore mining infrastructure in the Vogelsberg region. With hidden ponds, buried tunnels and abandoned railway lines, it is one of the witnesses of industrial activity in the region until 1967, whose active buildings and structures are still part of childhood memories for some. Many younger people, however, are unaware of this part of the region's history, or there is only fragmentary knowledge about this industrial activity, which was once so important for the region.
