Due to corona restrictions, visitors will have to wait a little longer until they are allowed to re-enter the largest basalt quarry in Europe.
However, the quarry trade fair Steinexpo has now been able to announce a new date. The 11th International Demonstration Fair will now take place under conditional release from April the 14th to 17th, 2021.
The Vogelsberg Volcano Region Geopark plans to participate in the raw materials and building materials industry fair in 2021 again and to represent and promote the German Geoparks with a stall.
