The Vogelsberg Volcanic Region Nature Park is looking for a
employee* (d/m/f)
for the field service and the maintenance shop (Schotten) as soon as possible.
The full-time position is generally also splittable.
Your area of responsibility
- Maintenance, upkeep and repair of hiking and biking trails, parking lots and numerous other nature park facilities in the association's territory
(11 municipalities in 4 counties)
- Independent driving of vehicles, trailers and special machines (tracked vehicle in winter service with training course)
- Independent work in the carpentry and workshop of the company
- All other work in the nature park, including waste disposal
- Temporary work outside normal working hours and on-call duties in winter
- Predominantly working solo
Your profile
- Completed professional training as a craftsman, preferably in the field of agriculture and forestry, landscaping / horticulture or wood processing with several years of professional experience.
- Knowledge in the use of chainsaws, power scythes, other machines and equipment in the workshop area and the company carpenter's store
- Good local knowledge in the association area and knowledge of the ski trails in the Upper Vogelsberg are an advantage
- Close to nature, physically resilient, committed, flexible and a team player
- Driving license class BE or B for passenger car with trailer
